Here at Spring Cottage we obviously love the sprin

Here at Spring Cottage we obviously love the spring every year 🌸 but in 2021 we are looking forward to it even more than usual because it means the return of our guests! 🎉
We are open from 12th April for single households, either as a 14 or at the discounted price for 6, then from 17th May we can welcome two households, and from 21st June we hope that we're all free and clear to have all bookings as normal! 🤞
This has been such a difficult year for many, so book your trip to Spring Cottage to get away and recharge 😊

Parties at Spring Cottage are always a good time, with a fire pit, hot tub and plenty of games! Just add yourself and friends 💗

All our lovely girls have been in their own lockdown for the last few months due to avian flu. I'm sure they're missing their time out exploring as much as we humans are! We can't wait for the lifting of both human and avian lockdowns and to be able to have our guests back 🐔

2020 wasn't exactly what we had planned for our fi

2020 wasn't exactly what we had planned for our first year as a holiday rental! It was definitely a year of mixed blessings- many cancellations and changes due to lockdowns, quiet Christmas because of Tier 4, but also a lot of joy where it could be found.
In the few months last year that it was allowed, we loved having guests in our home and hearing how much they enjoyed and appreciated the house and garden. We felt terrible for everyone who had to cancel or rearrange their stay; many people were forced to cancel long-awaited family reunions, landmark birthday getaways or yearly trips. But the long lockdown meant that we had a lot of time to spend in the garden making sure it will be even more beautiful for years to come 🌸
In between lockdowns, 'Rule of Six' meant our normal 14 person bookings couldn't go ahead, but we were able to open for six guests or single households and were so happy to hear from people saying we saved their year, and that their stay in our cottage meant so much to them.
2020 was a weird year and I'm sure 2021 will continue to be weird for a while, but hopefully we can reopen sometime soon and once again safely welcome people to Spring Cottage 🏡
